South University

South University was founded in Savannah in 1899 as Draughon's Practical Business College. It was acquired by the South family in 1974, and the name was changed to Draughon's Junior College. It was renamed South College in 1986 and became South University in 2001 after receiving accreditation to offer master's degrees.
