Strathy Hall Plantation

Strathy Hall is an antebellum plantation and house located near Richmond Hill. Originally constructed in 1756 by James MacKay, a Scottish Captain who served alongside George Washington and under General Oglethorpe. The house was severely damaged by fire in the early 1800s and then restored in 1840 by George W. McAllister. Later, Henry Ford bought the property. This site is in the National Register of Historic Places.
